Carlos Rubal has been the Business Development Advisor of EIT Digital since 2016, specializing in engineering and energy, as well as real estate matters.

During his professional career, he has worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co, as a Business Productivity Advisor at Microsoft, and as Head of Strategic Planning at Uralita. He has also carried out numerous business development operations, with a special emphasis on the strategic aspect.

He complemented his degree at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI with a Masters in Management at Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University).

He has spent a large part of his professional career at EIT Digital as a Business Development Advisor. From this position, he has been responsible, among other things, for investing in strategic areas to accelerate technological research based on social challenges such as Digital Cities or Digital Finance.
