Fernando Cortiñas has been an Associate Professor at IE Business School since 1992, specializing in the area of Marketing.

Throughout his professional career, he has served as Director of Sales and Information Security for Telefónica. He has also carried out numerous organic business development operations in LatAm to establish subsidiaries in the region.

He complemented his degree in Business Administration with an MBA from Harvard Business School.

He has taught classes as a university professor at IE Business School on Marketing Strategy, Marketing Management, and International Management.

He has spent a large part of his professional career in International Sales Director and Information Security Director positions at Telefónica. From these positions, he has been responsible for developing the company’s expansion projects in LatAm countries.
